Managing Attorney
Benjamin Horton is the managing attorney in our College Park branch of Sage Title Group, LLC, servicing Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He has been an active participant in all aspects of the title industry since 2005, and has lectured and instructed clients, Realtors, business owners, and the like, on issues ranging from premises liability, including sports venues, risk exposure, fair housing, foreclosures, bankruptcy, legislative issues as they relate to real property, agency, and more. Benjamin’s lectures have included the majority of real estate educational courses approved by the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Benjamin is a 1991 graduate of the Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland, Bucknell University (B.A.) in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and the Columbus School of Law - Catholic University of America (J.D.) in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States of America, the United States District Courts for Maryland and for the District of Columbia, a member of the United States Court of Claims, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. Additionally, Benjamin is a member of the bars of both the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
